Giclee: Two new services available to our customers
We are pleased to introduce two new very different services to benefit our existing giclee customers as well painters and photographers who do not use our giclee services (at least not yet!).

The first feature is new and as far as we know none of our competitors is offering it: The Giclee Certificate Of Authenticity System. It is a Holographic serialized certificate we provide with each print (if requested) and an online registration in our database.

The second feature is the opening of a division of the company to provide Search Engine Optimization and Web Design Services to photographers and artists. Being found in the search engines is very important and it can make the difference between making a profit or going out of business.

We are very proud to have some of the best specialists in the world working for us. Look at our own results: In Google we are #5 for the keyword giclee (over 2,700,000 results) and #8 for the key phrase fine art printing (over 9,200,000 results!).

We achieved these results in just one year and we are neck and neck with competitors who have had their sites up for more than 5.

If you are a photographer in a large city with a lot of competition we can help. People who search for Portrait photographers in Los Angeles are seeing over 2,200,000 results in Google. In New York over 9,000,000 and Chicago over 2,200,000 . Where is your site?

Even for artists the competition is stiff: a search for orchid oil painting (pretty specific, isn't it?) still returns over 220,000 results. Look for Arizona desert landscape paintings and 689,000 results are returned!

Paying online galleries $300 and more per year is definitely an option and should be considered. Having a well designed website optimized to rank high in the search engines is essential in high competition markets as well as for artists who live in remote areas and need a nationwide audience.

  Giclee canvas coating
When printing on canvas, it is absolutely necessary to coat the material either here before it ships or later if for example the artist wants to embellish the giclee. Failure to do so will result in fading, scratching and possibly yellowing of the optical brighteners present in the canvas. If you decide to varnish the giclee after it is stretched, please take some care while handling it. The materials we use are scuff resistant but the chance to scratch or damage the print are higher. The issue of water damage is very low because our canvas is water resistant.
We take every care to package the rolled art to prevent problems. Stretching of properly coated canvas is similar to an oil or acrylic. Our system creates very tough prints that can be touched, wiped and handled with ease.
