  New giclee printer is online
We have finally received the new Epson 9800 with the newly formulated K3 pigmented inks. After a long time wait due to supply restrictions, we tested the 9800 and are happy to say it is all it was promised: we are now able to print blues that were simply not available before and blacks as deep as they can be. We also compared our standard test print against other competitors and the Epson 9800 is hands down a winner.
As we work not only with painters but also with digital photographers and computer artists, the color space boundaries are constantly pushed. As a result, we want a giclee capable of producing the most saturated colors and Dmax without having to use gamut compression to avoid color shifting.
Please read our discussion on Inkjet Canvas Printing and Giclee: Gamut Compression.
