  Stretching canvas giclee
Although we offer stretching services for canvas giclee, the most economical way to keep revenues as high as possible is to do it yourself. The financial advantages are many: it is cheaper to ship a rolled canvas rather than the stretched piece. Also, the stretchers are fairly inexpensive to purchase as the cost of stretching is mostly due to labor. If you decide to do it yourself, make sure that the right amount of stretching force is applied and you don't tear the emulsion. Otherwise the process is no different compared to stretching an oil or acrylic. We advise to do a gallery wrap, where the staples sit in the back of the frame. It makes for better presentation and it is viable to sell a piece that doesn't need to be framed to be displayed.
